Sorry if this appears twice.... News reader probelms, y'know... Most of the Windows applications I run under Win-OS/2 seem to work OK, however I have a particular problem with Word 6.0a: Every so often the pointer freezes then gets freed-up after a short delay (OK, I can cope with that), but then sometimes it freezes & never comes back. I can't get the PC to respond at all & have to ctrl-alt-del & start all over again. One odd thing I discovered was that the system info, as reported by Word's 'Help about...' seems to reckon I've got a swap file of 4194300 KB (and there's no disk of that size anywhere on my system!) which certainly seems screwy. I'm running OS/2 warp v3.0 with FixPak 17 installed on an Elonex 60MHz Pentium with 16Mb RAM. Word runs from a mapped Novell network drive in a seamless Win-OS/2 session on the OS/2 desktop. In case it's relevant the PC has a SMC8000 network card & a Panasonic CD-ROM drive. Any ideas as to which config or whatever lines to fiddle with would be much appreciated.
