I'm having a problem with my computer. I have a 68pin wide scsi IBM hard drive. it's hooked up to a western digital 7296 wide scsi controller. whenever I try to boot OS/2 the SCSI bus will lock up pretty much as soon as the workplaceshell appears. i've tried every known configuration and I can't seem to determing what is causing the problem. it did happen once under DOS, when I was running the very disk intensive program "Partition Magic". Thanks. please reply via email or to comp.periphs.scsi.

Hi: Try to set a /v after the IBM1S506.add statement at the config.sys and reboot. During reboot look careffuly to the screen and when the driver loads it tell You what chip do You have. If You have the RZ1000 , and I think the CMD640 You need to install new drivers! Just trying to help! Albano Matos
