Outbound Flow Control Problem with ZOC 2.08a and SIO

Over the last few months, I've had a major problem whereby all my uploads
using using ZOC have crashed after about 10%-15% of the transfer.

Initially, I thought that maybe ZOC had a problem so I contatced Markus. He
said to make sure I have flow control enabled. I did and still no go.
My next test was to disable SIO (v1.53). To my surprise, this fixed the
problem and I could happily upload again.
I also thought I'd try it with another comms program like Telix. This worked
too without SIO.
So, on to Ray Gwinn to tell him about my problem. According to him, I have an
outbound flow control problem. I've talked to a number of people since then
and Ray's diagnosis sounds right. However, I have hardware flow control enabled
in the modem by default.

My setup is:
DX/2-66
Supra V32bis (1.71) modem
OS/2 Warp
SIO v1.53

Is there anything that I have overlooked whihc might help my situaion?

Thanks :-)
