This note is for companies and individuals developing arcade style
PC games.

Dear PC Game Developer,

This summer I am teaching a class for programmers in grades 7-10 entitled,
"Fundamentals of Arcade Style Game Programming." You may be able to help
the next generation of PC game programmers by providing us with resources
such as the following:

General information about your company and its products.

Information about what it takes to be a freelance game developer.

Biographies of or interviews with successful game developers,
either in text form or on video. I would love to show videotaped
greetings from developers describing their backgrounds, skills,
     interests, and hobbies.

Copies of your game products for us to study (yes, study) and for
awards and prizes for the kids.

Any other resources you can think of that will help the students
     learn about PC game programming.

I have a very small budget for class materials, so I rely on your gener-
osity in donating materials. I will acknowledge all donations in a note
to all of the students and their parents. I am a strong believer in
copyright law, and will take all reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized
use of any of your licensed materials.

Thank you very much for any assistance you can provide. Please contact me
via E-mail to daveb@netcom.com, or telephone (510) 945-7565, Extension
175. You can mail materials to me at the address below.

What follows are paragraphs describing the program, the class, and myself.

Sincerely,

Dave Briccetti

college environment and is patterned after a college curriculum
     and course structure.
