HELP HELP HELP!!!!
 
 
I screwed up my MBR and I'm now on my way to recover 
things back to normal.
 
What I had:                          
1st HD
Boot manager
C: dos primary (100meg)
E: Extended logical HPFS with warp on  (300meg)
 
2nd HD
D: extended logical HPFS
F: Extended logical FAT bootable from boot manager (small 
maintenance partition)
 
Story so far:
 
With norton diskedit I found where everything was.
I restored C: with no problems, restored bootmanager 
parition too. Though I had to re-create bootmanager 
because it was partly over written.
 
Found where my HPFS partition started. To be exact, DOS 
partition ended on cyl 100, side 63, sector 32. on cyl 
101,0,1 there was a partition table as there is with 
extended partitions. and at 101,1,1 (cyl,side,sect) 
started the HPFS volume with boot sector.
 
If I write on MBR that the HPFS partition type is 
extended and that it starts from 101,0,1, OS/2's FDISK 
thinks there is no partition. If I write on MBR that the 
partition is HPFS and starts from 101,1,1, OS/2's FDISK 
thinks the partition as primary (which it wasn't), finds 
also an unknown partition (I think it's the thing that 
starts from 101,0,1). But I Can't boot from that HPFS 
partition. 
Even If I mark the HPFS partition as the only partition 
on disk, primary and bootable, my system doesn't even 
start booting. (top left corner doesn't get eaten).
with this configuration and boot from floppy and try to 
access C: (which it shows on fdisk) gives sys0026: the 
disk cannot be accessed.
