A million monkeys weren't enough! It took stens@powertech.no on 19 Nov

Nope. As long as they use the same (g)libc version, stuff should be
compatible. I installed ddd (a gdb frontend) from the SuSE 6.3
distribution onto a Mandrake 7.1 installation without problems.

I'm hesitating between SuSE (nice stuff like ssh and ddd included) and
Mandrake (excellent hardware detection, Bastille-compatible).
