Called IBM Australia, and they said it has not come out yet. > > Hi, Antonio We are IBM OEM Dealers for OS/2 and PC-DOS software, as well as representing OS/2 third party suppliers. We have a meeting with our OEM Account Manager tomorrow to discuss a number of issues, including imminent and future releases of OS/2 and related software. After this meeting I will send you a message to keep you informed of availability and pricing. BTW we also accept Bankcard, MasterCard, VISA, Diners, and American Express cards, and will ship anywhere in the world for a very small charge. Also we are manufacturers specialising in building systems running OS/2, and in our experience of thousands of OS/2 installs, involving about 1500 unique configurations, we have seen many components that do not measure up to the needs of any multi-tasking system, and in particular OS/2. In relation to 486 motherboards, we have tested particularly by stressing (maintaining 100% load for hours) about 85 different motherboards, only 3 ran without a hitch. When it came to Pentium (586) motherboards, we tested about 23 motherboards, only 2 were great, with another 4 good. BTW the 3 486 motherboards that worked just great were all from the 1 manufacturer (Ocean Office Automation from Hong Kong branded as OCTEK DCA motherboards), and the most advanced of these, the DCA2 uses 20ns 72 pin Cache SIMM RAM as well as conventional 72 pin SIMM RAM, and running the great OS/2 system with an AMD 486DX4-100 they keep pace with Pentium 90 systems (at a whole lot less money$$$). The Pentium version is also due out in a matter of weeks now. Yours Sincerely Power-Plus Computers Pty. Ltd. Ian R.
