I believe this has been discussed before and I didn't pay attention
to it.  That'll teach me.

SYMPTOMS:

   1. During a manipulation operation, the mouse pointer dissapears
      after dragging it off the object to be manipulated (moved,
      copied, shadowed, etc.).  OS/2 knows where the pointer is,
      but I can't see it.  Only through some educated guesswork as
      to the position of the pointer can I get it to the desired
      destination.

   2. During a MOVE operation from a shadowed folder to a view of
      a folder within that folder (whew!) the icon "smears" across
      the view of the source folder--and the pointer will not leave
      the view of the source folder!  REFRESH does not cure this--I
      have to close and reopen the view of the shadowed folder.  And
      in no case apparently will it let me move our copy things outside
      that view.

SYSTEM:

   IBM PS/2 55SX, 8514/A and 8514 display, 16Mb RAM, 60Mb HD, OS/2 2.0
   GA with Service Pak applied (32 bit graphics engine).
