Do I bring my box down to 64Mb and buy another >kite with the 'lost' 32Mb..? > >Mmmn.. or am I missing something..? I think System Information tool is in error. On my machine with 96MB, it reports 96Mb in the first line, but the others seem to be limited to 64MB no matter what. I have been able to prove that all the memory was used by writing a program that does an malloc and commit of a block of 64MB of RAM and it didn't swap at all. More than that made it swap. That's not surprising, since OS/2 does take RAM by itself with all the networking components I have installed - and it takes about 32MB on my box after it's started. -- //---------------------------------------------------------------------------- // Julien R.
