I'm thinking about going (got my badge in the mail about a month ago from last year's pre-registration). I'm wondering if Microsoft will be having a large group of support/"techie"-type people there to answer hard questions about win'95 -- with the rate of questions & problems being posted on the related win'95 newsgroups, I'm also wondering: 1) how many returns of win'95 have shown up at CompUSA and the other stores that sell it? 2) how many people are having major problems with running their software? 3) when they will create a more informative message before "SAFE" mode is entered -- it's fun trying to figure out what could really cause the system to enter this mode.... just random thoughts.... -bob p.s. i'd like to find out if their comments about being able to run faster during the install process could cause them to get into trouble for false advertising. doom running on my 486dx2-66/8mb ram system runs good...but under win'95, it acts like it's running on a 386-25 or so style machine...
