Backing up a ThinkPad 560

I am looking for suggestions on how to backup a ThinkPad 560 with 1 GB disk. A disaster recovery
type of backup would be referred so that I was possible to recover without re-installing the operating system

Am using OS/2 Warp 3.0 no fix packs.

Ask som friends for lent a older version of Iomegas PP-Zip drive.
Fetch from somewere the OS2V234T.ZIP (Iomega OS/2 OAD drivers Release
2.34)
Make on the service-program-disks (the 2nd) a directory /OAD
Copy to there the follow files (included in OS2V234T.ZIP):
config.dev, config.oad, genoad.exe, genoad.hlp, genoad.ico, genoad.msg,
os2.sys,
ppa.adp, ppa.opt, ppa3.adp, ppa3.opt, zip-100.dev, zip-100.opt

The CONFIG.SYS of the service-program-disks should include the follow
line:
device=a:\oad\os2.sys

Execute the genoad.exe for initialize the config.oad
Have a look that the printer port is in BIOS on correct PORT-adress and
INT
(so happens me, there was some where)

After all that it is possible to make with the OS/2-own BACKUP.EXE
and RESTORE.EXE completely desaster recovery and movings betwen
harddisks.

Don't forgot to make SYSINSTX for the recovered/new harddisk.
