I'm having this same problem with a Soundblaster AWE32 PnP. It worked
perfectly with my old Biostar MB and Cyrix 5x86 120 MHZ processor, but refuses
to work in my new MTec R534 E MB and Cyrix 6x86 P200+ system, using the same
(latest) drivers, no mater which settings I try. I've tried PnP enabled, and
PnP disabled, with IRQ 5,7, and 9, and with numerous other changable
parameters set at every possible optional setting (/p, etc...)....

The most frustrating thing is that my son runs Win95 on the same P200+ system
(via boot manager), and Win95 detected the soundcard, and had it playing great
sounds, in a mater of seconds. Therefore, I know the MB is not the problem.
