Q. What is DIVE?

A. DIVE stand for Direct Interface Video Extensions, which allows programmers
direct access to the video card memory. This helps greatly in the speed
of video in games and video clips. DIVE is a function of the driver. Most
boards are capable of DIVE even if the driver isn't. The one exception
   is the 8514 board.

Q. What is FS-DIVE?

A. Fullscreen DIVE in 320x200x256 mode only. Support was planned for higher
resolution but will never see the light of day.

Q. What is enDIVE?

A. EnDIVE is enhanced DIVE which allows hardware accleration for DIVE for
such things as accelerated video clips, etc. Your video card must be
capable of hardware upscaling to use enDIVE. ex. Trio64V+ based cards.

Q. What is GRADD?

A. With OS/2 for the PowerPC a new video driver model was released. This
is an object oriented driver model that allows easier and quicker
building of video device drivers. GRADD will be in OS/2 ver. 4 (Merlin)

Hope this helps.. Any corrections appreciated.
