Hi all, I've just bought a Sound Blaster 32 card with a Vibra chipset. However it didn't come with any OS/2 drivers...so I'm sourcing out the internet. My box doesn't say PnP. Does Vibra imply PnP?? If someone could point out to me the *exact* name of the file I should ftp (ftp.creaf.com?? Or should I go to hobbes??), I'd be most thankful. Thanks in advance, Sean -- Sean H.Y. Sean, The file SBOS2PNP.EXE from ftp.creaf.com will work for that board whether it is PnP or not. I have the AWE32 with the jumpers and it works just fine. You will have to configure the jumpers for the IDE interface manually if you are using it. Rich Piotrowski

In article <sean.822039208@cuscus>, sean@cs.uwa.edu.au says... > >My box doesn't say PnP. Does Vibra imply PnP?? If someone could point >out to me the *exact* name of the file I should ftp (ftp.creaf.com?? Or >should I go to hobbes??), I'd be most thankful. > Get sbos2pnp.exe from hobbes or sb_os2.exe from ftp.creaf.com. Both should work whether your card is PnP or not. Vibra does not imply Pnp though there are some versions of Vibra chipsets that include the PnP logic. That doesn't mean all PnP Sound Blasters use Vibra. There are PnP cards that do not use the Vibra chipsets. Hari
