Injoy Connect I would appreciate help and advice with respect to Injoy Connect I have managed to successfully install and set up Injoy Connect (IC) so that I can dial in remotely via Injoy Professional to the IC computer.. and I can ping that "box" and can "ping" my own machine back! What I am unable to do is to understand the routing concepts to allow me to then 'jump' or 'hop' (call it what you will) to the LAN. Details.... 1 LAN at office using Warp Server for e business Fixpack 2 and TCPIP 4.3 IP network using the 192.168.1.xxx system where 192.168.1.100 is the file server Protocols are Netbios TCPIP Netbios over TCPIP (I am still running netbios as well as Netbios over TCPIP) 2 Injoy Connect is running on a Network PC (where its LAN IP address is 192.168.1.2 - ie this machine is NOT the actual server box (192.168.1.100) but rather a network PC 3 The Injoy Connect PPP network is set up so that the IC server IP is 10.2.2.10 4 The user (ie me at home) has an assigned PPP address of 10.2.2.1 so far I can dial in from home using Injoy to the office LAN PC (using Injoy Connect) and the modem answers and negotiates and I am then logged onto the PPP network with a default gateway IP 10.2.2.10 and a user IP of 10.2.2.1..... but I cant 'see' the LAN network (the 192.168.1.xxx ) how do I do this? what do I need to set up on my home (remote) PC if anything and what do I need to set up on the Injoy Connect PC at the office so that I can access the LAN? I know it is to do with "routing" but there my knowledge stops!! I presume that on the Injoy Connect Box I specify that the final destination is 192.168.1.100 and that the router is 10.2.2.10..? Is this a "default" or "net' or "subnet" and how many hops do I specify ? 1 or 2...?? what do I need to set up on the remote pc at home? no change presumably?
