I am trying to figure out how to grant customized permissions using "net access" or some other command line utility. I'm running OS/2 Peer from Warp Connect. There is no LAN Server on the network. When I run NET ACCESS ResourceName, I get the following error: NET2453: The domain controller for this domain cannot be found. For more information, type HELP NET2453. When I do *that*, I get: ------------- NET2453: The domain controller for this domain cannot be found. Cause: The domain name is not valid, or the domain controller is not running in this domain. Action: Verify that you have spelled the domain name correctly. Verify that the domain controller is running in this domain. Verify that the Netlogon service is running on the domain controller in this domain. ------------- Q: I read that domain controllers are possible only with LAN Server, not with OS/2 Peer with Warp Connect. Is it possible to change the access priveleges with Peer and without LAN Server (on the command line)? As a possible workaround, can the "Sharing and Connecting" program be passed parameters that could accomplish this? Thanks for your help. - Keith -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Keith Bennett Bennett Business Solutions, Inc.
