I have this problem also.  In addition, sometimes when I am replying to a
note, the 'SEND' option is not available from the pull down menu.  Fortunately,
the F5 key does the trick.  Also when I use the spell checker, the dialog
box always pops up on top of the mispelled word.

As a final quesiton, does anyone understand when and why mail goes into
the mail queue?  Clearly, it gets in there when an address is wrong, but
how can you monitor what is in there?  As far as I can tell, you get one
chance to fix the address, and then you note goes off to never never land--
possibly causing your sendmail.err file to get huge.
