Connection using NFS and mount.

Is it possible to use NFS and connect to a network drive using
program manager? Whenever I try to do it it tells me "that function
isn't supported for the network drive". Surely we can use PM to look at
the network directory, can't we?

No, you can't. At this time, the PM/WPS doesn't support drag & drop or
other such neat network functions on NFS drives.

An IBMer told me that it was going to be supported eventually, but had no
idea when.

Isn't that a sorry state of affairs!

OK, this must be an RTFM except I can't find it in TFM. How do I execute
stuff on an NFS drive. I created a nice big Pub/OS2 directory on my Sun to
be shared by our OS/2 systems. It works fine for most things, but if I
try to run an executable from the NFS mount I get an error that the file
xxx.exe could not be found. It must have found the damn thing to know what
the extension is. All the attributes look good. Why won't it run?

Humble thanks in advance.
