NE2000, 3c501 Drivers wanted

I am trying to get the OS/2 TCP/IP package from the 11/92 PDK CD-ROM
running. I have been following the suggestions from the tcpstart.txt
file from ftp-os2.nmsu.edu but when I try to install the drivers using
LAPS I get stuck because neither an NE2000 nor a 3c501 driver are available,
the two cards for which I need drivers. I tried to use the 3c501 driver
from the 3-COM ftp site but I get a complaint that the .nif file is no
good. Same story for the NE2000 .nif I got from ftp-os2.
Can anyone point me to a source for the drivers I am looking for?

		Thanks,

Working on OS/2 2.1 beta X11R4 libraries -> 16 vs 32 bit socket API

The IBM TCP/IP programming libraries and sample code supplied on the OS/2 2.1
11/92 PDK CDROM appears to be limited to 16 bit calls and compilation using
the Microsoft C 6.00A compiler/linker/etc.

I seem to recall seeing a reference to a 32 bit socket library somewhere on
the network. Perhaps someone could point out where to get the 32 bit socket
library.

Thanks, Merlin

p.s. Also, I'd like confirmation from anyone inside or outside IBM regarding
their plans to release or not to release X11R4 libraries in next few months.

Filename is either progcsd.zip or prgcsd.zip (I can't remember which
one), and it is available via anonymous ftp from ftp-os2.nmsu.edu.
Check file /pub/os2/00Index for location.

Try at ftp.uu.net
in
/vendor/microsoft/network-drivers/elnk.zip.
