Yes, I know there isn't one. My question is: how hard would it be to write one? Anyone know of any good books? :) -Steve ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- steve luzynski @ case western reserve university in cleveland, oh sal8@po.cwru.edu | voice calls testily accepted at x2153. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Editor - OS/2 Programmer's Magazine. Novell provides the hooks with LAN Workplace for OS/2, just add ODIPKT. IBM provides the hooks with NTS/2, just add IBMTOKEN. And, last but not least, I think Dan Lanciani said here the other day that Essex' TCP/2 has such support built-in. >My question is: how hard would it be to write >one? [Stuff Deleted] The problem, however, is that a SAP can only be open in one place at a time, so you can only run one TCP/IP application (SAP 0xAA - SNAP) in one DOS box at a time. If there's any way around this, I'd love to know about it. I would be very interested in multi-DOS-box access to FTP Software's PC/TCP kernel. Last time I checked, this was not provided with FTP's OS/2 package, but I'm not sure. Have you verified that this works on an ethernet system? I have only been able to confirm it working on Token Ring based LANs. (NTS/2, that is, no experiences at all with Novell's...) >And, last but not least, I think Dan Lanciani said here the other day that >Essex' TCP/2 has such support built-in. This is good to hear, at least in rumor form - any confirmations?
