Installing 1.2.1b

Well I had a friend copy the individual disks from the cdrom to
diskettes, and tried installing. Everything seemed to have gone OK, but
in the process of configuring my adapter amongst all the settings I had
no clue on some of them. Hense when I tried to run telnet, mail etc,
the adapter just hung, OS2 was fine though. (OS2 crash protection is
wonderful isn't)

Anyway, upon reading the read.me I realized there are several manuals
that I am lacking. ie installation guide, users guide and another one.
Where on the CD rom do they reside? They deffinately weren't on the
installatio diskettes and not installed in the /tcpip/doc directory
either. Can someone give me a few pointers, or maybe uuencode and mail
them to me? Thanks very much.

BTW, 1.2.1 looks to be a cool product if only I could set it up and use
it right.
:)

                     Laws of Computer Programming

1. Any given program, by the time it is up and running is obsolete.
2. Any given program costs more and takes longer than planned and budgeted.
3. Inside every large program is a small program struggling to get out.
4. Program complexity grows until it exceeds the capability of the programmer
   who must maintain it.
5. At the source of every error which is blamed on the computer, you will
find at least two human errors, including the error of blaming it on the
   computer.

The documentation is in the \books directory on the CDROM, file names:
eala2101.boo ealh2101.boo eals3101.boo
eala5001.boo ealp4101.boo lsp13mst.boo

You will need the IBM book reader to view them, there are DOS and OS/2
versions in the \ez2inst directory on the ROM. The OS/2 version requires
a couple lines in the config.sys file, see the install script in the root
directory of the ROM to see what needs to be done, I can't remember
at the moment.
