When using the latest CSD for IBM's NFS I keep getting copy errors when
copying files from SCO Unix to OS/2 or vice-versa. The errors only
appear on the SCO box and are:
WARNING: xdr_union: dscmp FAILED | Repeated five
WARNING: xdr_rdresult: decode FAILED | times
WARNING: NFS read failed for server xxxx: CANT DECODE RES
The problem does not appear on the previous NFS CSD.
The resulting file is not the correct length, e.g. for a copy of
/unix to an OS/2 NFS mounted FAT partition:
1> l /unix
-r--r----- 1 bin mem 1148095 May 17 21:53 /unix
2> l /c/unix
-rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 1147904 Jul 03 11:41 /c/unix
The mount as speficied in /etc/default/filesys on the SCO box is:
bdev=dos486:c:/ mountdir=/c rcmount=no mount=yes fstyp=NFS \
nfsopts=soft,rsize=4096,wsize=4096
