I am porting an application from C/Set++ 2.1 to Visual Age. Any help on the following problems would be *greatly* appreciated. 1) -------------- When I link, I get the error: LINK386 : fatal error L1104: E:\IBMCPP\LIB\CPPOM30I.LIB : not valid library I checked the file, and it's there and identical to its counterpart on the VA CD-ROM. 2) ------------- .\tempinc\isrksb.obj(.\tempinc\isrksb.cpp) : error LNK2029: "OLD_ASSIGN::operator==(const OLD_ASSIGN&) const" : unresolved external ... and 4 other messages like it ... I think it has something to do with the make preceding it being compiled with /Tdp and leaving files in the tempinc directory (possibly because the build failed?) I think we got it to build successfully by manually deleting and removing the tempinc directory before the build. Does /Tdp result in the compiler using something in tempinc even though it's not needed? 3) ------------- ILink : fatal error LNK1094: could not find file dde4muii.lib I know the library names have changed. Should I put in the new file's name or let the compiler put it in the .OBJ for me? - Thanks for any help. -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Keith Bennett Bennett Business Solutions, Inc.
