We have an applications with multiple processes sharing mutex semaphores. Recently we had a problem where one of the processes would occasionally trap and abort that process. (We have since fixed that problem.) If it happened to own a semaphore when it died, all the other processes could not use that semaphore, since they would receive an error #105 (ERROR_SEM_OWNER_DIED). Is there any way to create the semaphore such that if its owner dies, it is released automatically? In our case, this might be helfpul. Thanks for any answers... - Keith -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Keith Bennett Bennett Business Solutions, Inc.
