What in the message do you consider is terrific service and
responsiveness?  That he finally answered my letter?  I did not
see him describe any concrete actions he intended to do other than
to pass the message on.

Neither did it sound to me like he was willing to extend tech
support beyond the narrow scope of compiler usage and bugs.
