No one in the industry ever gives very exact dates when things will ship until a month or two before the occasion. The clear exception was the do or die August 24 date 1995 for Windows 95 but then everyone was expected Windows 4.0 since 1994. What everyone gives is an expected time frame like "expected to be released in the 3rd quarter of '97" blah blah blah. All you need to know is to pass that expected time frame to know something is very late. > >>NT 5.0 should be out RSN but is delayed unitl 98. > >Now why would NT 5 ship just a few months after NT 4? This is completely >silly. Why don't you read all the online press and how they expected NT 5 in 2nd half of '97?
