Can anyone tell me how I can disable the NumLock key within my C++ app? By the way, please don't lecture me on why I shouldn't do this. This is a turnkey system with a laptop style keyboard. When NumLock is active, some of the letter keys become number keys. Users have unknowingly pressed NumLock and become really confused when the letter keys output numbers instead of letters. It is a PM app. I am catching the characters myself in the WM_CHAR message. I suppose I can look at the scan code and change the char value myself if it's one of those overloaded keys? Thanks for any help. - Keith -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Keith Bennett Bennett Business Solutions, Inc.
