Can an executable image be shared?

Is there any way for multiple instances of an application to share
a copy of an executable in memory?

Do we need to put shared code in a DLL to do this? (Would this work?)

Thanks for any info.

As I understand it, code segments are all shared among multiple instances of
a program. So you need do nothing: it is already happening.
