When I first installed (both) Workframes and the CSET++ compiler, I used the tutorial and verified that the editor did go to the line with the error - very nice. This was several weeks ago. Since that time, I have made some changes to my OS/2 system, and I am trying to figure out how to correct the above problem. The changes that I have made are (the order may not be the time order) 1) apply the second CSD to workframe 2 2) install the improved EPM code off the DEVCON CD-ROM (version 3) 3) install the customised EPM code off DEVCON 3 I have also installed the 2.11 SP and the SOM developers kit (and its 2.04 CSD), but I don't suspect these. On discovering that EPM didn't go the error line - the cursor stays on line 1 - I tried several things to try and correct the problem. First I checked with Workframe 1 to see if that worked (thinking the CSD may have caused the problem). Workframe 1 also left the cursor on line 1. I assumed the problem was with EPM. I have tried several recompiles of EPM without success. I tried the EPM code (5.51a) off DEVCON 4 - no change I even tried the beta of the 32-bit EPM off DEVCON 4 - no change. I am about to embark on my first major CSET-based project so would like to get this working. I assume I am missing something really simple, but I don't know what it is. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks. Tony Addyman Tony Addyman (The man from the AA) Dept. of Mathematics and Computer Science University of Salford Manchester M5 4WT, UK

I don't know how the settings for the project came to be reset, but thanks for the information. In my case, if EPM does not jump to the error from the workframe, then there is usually some other EPM process running in the back. Is that the case for you, too ? Do you have the Compiler Menu option in the menu ? ************************************************************************ * Stefan Zollner, Assistant Professor and Associate Physicist * * Iowa State University/Ames Laboratory, A205 Physics, Ames, IA 50011 * * zollner@iastate.edu Phone: (515) 294-7327 FAX: (515) 294-0689 * ************************************************************************
