If you plan to write a backup-utility for OS/2, do **not** use OS/2'
backup. It does not backup system/hidden-files (e.g. CMD.EXE, COMMAND.EXE)
and locked files. Why, I do not know (check-out the online-help).

Why don't you use GNU's tar of GTAK under the hood (see hobbes.nmsu.edu) ?
