'lo all!
I'm doing some maintenance work on a project, and have noticed that the
program occasionally leaves COMx files in the directory in which it the
program was run. Most of the time, these files can be deleted, but
sometimes, I get an error message like:
[C:\Bin]del com2
\DEV\COM2
SYS0003: The system cannot find the path specified.
I suspect that the files are left when the com ports aren't closed
properly. Am I correct? Is there a way to delete these files from
the keyboard without trying to delete my com driver?
