I'm not having ANY luck in profiling my program. I'm using the tools off of
the October PDK (anxiously awaiting the new PDK) and it just isn't working.
I'm compiling with the /Gh option to get the profiling hooks, and with the
debugging options on also. I'm linking with the /NOE options as the online
docs say.
I've even gone so far as installing the profit.sys device in my config.sys
file. IT STILL WONT PROFILE ANYTHING. (Sorry for yelling...) I type 'profit
program' and profit comes up and I can select and deselect modules and
procedures in my program. Then I click on Trace and a little dialog pops up
saying '0 events logged to ...'. What am I not doing? My app is a full screen
program, but I've tried the same with one of the sample program 'sort' with
no luck either.
Thanks for any info.
