Hello,

I couldn't find the original note -- but someone from IBM compiler development
sent me email suggesting there wasn't any intent to extend the dicount on the
IBM C Developer WorkSet/2 (32 bit C compiler, debugger, toolkit, Workframe/2).

However, here it is again, Dr. Dobb's Journal, #197, February 1993, pp. 3-4:

"And through September 5, you can save on IBM programming tools.
       IBM C Developer's WorkSet/2 is now available for $295 -- $600
off the list price. The WorkSet/2 includes a 32 bit C Compiler
and debugger, a toolkit and IBM WorkFrame/2. For an IBM
authorized dealer near you, or to order OS/2 2.0 from IBM,
       call 1 800 3-IBM-OS2.

So, it seems someone at IBM is promoting this idea through September 5, 1993.
