What is the maximum number of windows - or rather objects referenced with a HWND
- is it possible to allocate in a process and the system? (is it 100, 1000 or
10000...).
I am investegating how to implement a medium size application with several
different "real" windows with different types of diagrams etc. It should be
possible to click on a bar in a diagram and display more information about it -
possible displayed as a new diagram.
This could be solved with the traditional Gpi calls and retained graphics, but
it would be much simpler if every bar (and all other object at the screen) could
be implemented as windows. This also enables me to make a nice OO implementation
based on message passing between the windows (and some object windows)
Do any of you out there have any experience of applications built upon this
concept?
Regards - Anders Bjurman
