I'm trying to install Warp Connect on a machine with the following setup: 486 66 MHz PC, 20 MB RAM, VL motherboard IDE: 340 MB IDE HD SCSI: Adaptec 1522A, 2 GB HD, Internal Sony CD-ROM, external Sony DAT tape drive Video: Cirrus Logic 5426 I go through the initial stage without any problem. The first time I am asked to reboot, it reboots and a couple of icons show up on the screen. A message appears saying "Initializing installation...", and it stays there forever. I've tried this many times. At first I thought it was a problem with the 3COM network adapter, but I removed it without any effect. Can anyone tell me what's happening or how to fix this? I checked the Warp Pharmacy but couldn't find any answers. Thanks for your help. - Keith -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Keith Bennett Bennett Business Solutions, Inc. You might want to make sure all system caching and rom shadowing is turned off for the duration of the install. Turn them all back on when you're done. On some pc's I've installed on having them turned on during install hasn't been a problem, but just last week I came across a pc that wouldn't get past the boot diskettes without turing off caching.
