Hi, I'm having troubles installing Warp 3 on my reasonably new computer. I have two hard drives, a 4.3 GB hard drive with debian Linux on logical partition and Windows 98 on the first primary. This drive is the master drive on the primary IDE interface. I have a second, small (400 MB) hard drive as master on the secondary IDE interface, currently with Red Hat Linux on it. I want to install warp on the second hard drive, along with Windows 3.1 with Win-OS2. I'm using Warp 3 red pack. Problems: the Warp install disk (which is, it must be acknowledged, more than five years old) can't understand the partition layout of the primary drive. Warp's FDISK utility reports spurious figures instead of the real layout. If I try to install it on the secondary drive, it formats OK, but I'm unable to install Windows 3.1 or Warp on it. The install works OK until I get into the stage where I need to reboot. Then Lilo, which was installed on the boot sector of the 400 MB drive, takes over instead of the boot manager. No matter what I do, I can't seem to blast Lilo off that disk and use boot manager instead. Also, can someone tell me where to get the GRADD driver with Riva TNT support? I've looked all over and I can't find it anywhere. -- Jason Stokes: jstok@bluedog.apana.org.au

Apparently, from reading a few other docs, DOS's FDISK /MBR will do the trick. I do read the manuals first, you know, I just don't always know where to look. -- Jason Stokes: jstok@bluedog.apana.org.au

You need to go to the IBM OS/2 Device Driver Repository and update your
install disks. At the same location, you can find GRADD video support. You will
need the GENGRADD. http://www.software.ibm.com/os/warp look for a link for
"download", follow it to the OS/2 Device Driver Repository.
