i use a s3trio64+ also, it's fast and stable, and it works great under xfree86-os2 
the one i have is so generic, the only thing it says on the box is PCI SVGA 
adapter, no company name at all =-)
it is easy to install: just reset to VGA, pop in the card, restart, install driver and 
enjoy
