WinOS2 problem with new S3 driver

I just installed the new S3 864 video drivers (S328210.EXE, or
version 2.82.10) onto my Warp Connect (Fixpak 17) system. It works
fine, mostly, but when I launch a Windows application in a WinOS2
window, the video freaks out and the system hangs. Specifically what
happens is, the desktop image seems to compress to about a fourth the
size and it tiles to fill the screen. The Windows video never
appears, and Ctrl-Esc does nothing.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.
