Need advice on hw config: Neptune/AMI/Adaptec 2940/ATI?

I'm interested in getting a new PC on which I'll be running Warp
Connect and would like some advice.

Here are the characteristics of the configuration which I would like your
feedback on:

Pentium motherboard, clone brand w/Neptune Chipset, AMI BIOS, & 256K
CPU cache. 90 MHz Pentium will be installed, but board can take up
to 133 MHz Pentium.

Adaptec 2940 SCSI adapter controlling SCSI hard drives, CD-ROM, & DAT
drive.

ATI Mach64 (PCI) video card w/2MB VRAM

I will *disable* the onboard EIDE controller so that its IRQ's can be
used by other devices if necessary.

Any feedback on this configuration? Specifically, is there anything
I should know about the Neptune chipset? I know there are (were?)
problems concerning the Adaptec 2940. What are they and have they
been solved? Are there good Warp video drivers for the ATI Mach 64?
Is the AMI BIOS good? I went to a computer flea market last weekend and
it seemed that everyone was using Award's BIOS, at least for 486
motherboards.

Thanks for any help.

- Keith
