Hiya's

	I'm trying to convert my system to OS2/Warp, but, as you
	can guess, I'm having problems :(

	Ok, I have an Adaptec 2940PCI scsi-2 card and a
	NEC 3xi CDROM.  I'm trying to install OS2/Warp from
	CDROM.

		1. I insert the CDROM installation disk
		2. Then the disk 1

		3. I get the logo screen

		4. I then get the error:-

		"Primary channel of the adapter at port FF00 failed 
		initialization."

		and

		"AIC-7870 driver failed to load"

		Then I get the dreaded "red screen" with the message
		"No CDROM found....blah blah blah...."

		-----------------------------------------------------

		I've tried to hack around with the drivers, enabling
		this and enabling that.

		I've looked at the Adaptec User Manual and set the
		option "/a:0", it doesn't work.  My scsi-2 bus:device
		code is "00:11h."

		My spec is:-


			P90 (with the "fdiv bug")
			OPTI motherboard
			16 Mb's
			Nec 3xi
			IBM Spitfire hard drive
			Diamond Stealth 64 VRAM PCI with 2mb's
