Energy Star computers and OS/2 Warp

The other day, I left my computer idle for a long time while booted
in Warp. The hard drive spun down, but the monitor didn't shutdown.
When I tried to resume, I managed to get a OS/2 command window started
from the launchpad, but never got focus in that window. I couldn't
bring up a window list, open anything else, Ctl-Esc. Eventually the
keyboard buffer filled (I got beeps on every keypress). I had to
C-A-D to reboot the system (which, through a series of problems led me
to having to re-install Warp - probably some user brain damage there).

My computer is a Zeos Pantera 90Mhz Pentium, I had the power
management enabled in the BIOS. I didn't install "Advanced Power
Control" in Warp; is a driver required for that? I recall reading the
help section and thinking it was only for notebooks, but I certainly
could have been mistaken.

Right now, I've got the power management disabled in the BIOS, but
I'd prefer to have it working. Is this a Warp problem, a Zeos
problem, or a problem with the user (me!). Thanks.
