Hi all,
I'm about to get my S3 swapped for a different card due to driver problems, and
i was wondering what people think of the Tseng Labs ET4000 PCI graphics card?
It'll have 2Mb on-board, and will be sitting in a P90 system, replacing a Trio64 S3
video card.
Anything will be greatly appreciated,

This is the very card I am using...I think mine is a W32P w/2Mb. It works quite well. I just use the drivers in OS/2, and haven't had any problems. There is a little trick to getting OS/2 to let the ET-4000 do all of its refresh rates, but it can be done in about 3 minutes...very easy! ----------------------------------------------------------- Matt Foster, N0EYE vortex@prysm.com Shreveport, LA mesobeta@delphi.com

You just need to set the refresh rates with VMODE in a DOS session, then do a "SVGA ON" to update the SVGADATA.PMI (?) file. You can also use CENTER.COM to fix up the centering of the screen (if you're using an low-end monitor, as I am). With the W32's, setting the refresh rate just involves selecting it from a list. Matt
