Warp install prob: DUAL/SPLIT SCREEN ON START HELP!!!!

I've managed to install warp but when it startsup I get 2 horizontal spilt screens.
The top part of one and the bottom part of the other.

I have a trident vga screen with 1mb.
When I did the install it thought I had a EGA but I don't.
IF I choose another from the dialog box I still get a spilt screen.

How do I install the right driver for my card.?

You help well and truly appreciated

Regards: Kevin Lincoln.

Classic symptom of driver not matching the video hardware.

Defaults to EGA? How interesting.

I don't know much about trident cards. But there are a lot of drivers in
the IBM OS/2 depository. You might want to try there to see if there's
appropriate drivers for your card.

I missed the original post, but as someone who installed Warp on a
Trident 8900D yesterday, I can perhaps add some helpful comments. One
problem that sometimes arises is that the SVGA ON command, issued when
you try to install using defaults for the adapter, hangs the system
with either a blank or rolling screen. If that is the case, you can
either:

1. Run SVGA ON under DOS (SVGA ON DOS) to create a SVGADATA.DOS file,
then copy it to the \OS2 directory as SVGADATA.PMI. Then, to avoid
SVGA.EXE running, overwrite it with some other harmless program (I
simply copied LS.EXE, a directory utility, to \OS2\SVGA.EXE). Then run
DSPINSTL or the Selective Install utility. Or:

2. Create a SVGADATA.PMI as above, but then give the command

    RSPDSPI /PK:SVGA /SK:NONE /S:A: /T:C:\ /MC:2

where the /T: above should reference the target system boot drive.

Be advised that the IBM-supplied PSTRID.DSC and TR768BC.DSP files
contain some syntax errors and need a little fiddling, as well, and
that the 8900D is not supported officially.

Possibly you have an Interlaced display.... On the Trident Card, see if
it has a jumper to sellect Interlaced or Noninterlaced display.....
Set it for interlaced if possible.... If that works, then good!
