The original posting was misposted and the original poster knew better ! For newcomers, OS/2 sources should only be posted to comp.sources.misc and OS/2 binaries should only be posted to comp.binaries.os2 after it is created. The moderator of comp.sources.misc has explicitly agreed to take OS/2 sources there. Sources posted there will be automatically archived at a number of major sites world-wide, thus making the postings more useful to everyone. Also, posting sources here tends to increase the bit-rate of this newsgroup and several major sites have indicated that if folks don't stop posting sources and binaries here that they will stop carrying this newsgroup. There is a vote underway to create comp.binaries.os2 and I strongly urge folks to vote Yes. Even if you don't like binaries, it will keep the binaries out of this newsgroup and in a place where those who want them can still find them. It will also make it easier for archive sites to keep archive copies around for future users.
