A matter of Priority

I was wondering if anyone could help with a PM question.

If i'm running with absolute priority scheduling under PM what
happens in this case: I have one program/thread that has a higher
priority than all the others. This program puts a window up,
does some stuff and then kills the window. How does OS/2 handle
the repainting of the screen?

If my #1 thread has highest priority then the other programs
should never have the time to service their WM_PAINT messages.

I should just try it out, but I figure if someone already knows...

Thanks in advance for any advice.
