making small model libraries

Hello all. I'm having a nasty little problem associated with creating a
small model library which uses Kernel API calls. The library seems to
build just fine, but when I link it with a small model application, I get
an "Intersegment fix-up" error for each Kernel call in the library. Using
the same source code for both the application and library compiled large
model, I have no such problems. Anyone familiar with this problem?? Any
suggestions on how to get around it (it must be something embarrasingly
simple...)?
