Hi,

About a week ago I posted a message asking if there were any
objections to merging the comp.os.os2 group on uucp with the OS/2
echomail group on Fidonet.

So far I have received about three yes votes from the UUCP side, and
no word from the Fidonet side. There have been no votes against the
merger.

If it continues this way, then I'll assume there are no objections and
will merge the two groups (after clearing it with the fidonet echomail
moderator).

The gateway host sysop is now gone for a month, so nothing will be
done until the end of January. That should give ample time for
discussion.
