A co-worker of mine is running DOS and Windows 3.1 and he is having xactly the same problem.... You must also make sure that there are no IRQ conflicts - thought the fact you listed the IRQs above may mean you already know that IRQs can NOT be shared. Dual boot is also a pain in the butt at times. I have gone pure HPFS on almost every install and never had any problems worth mentioning. OS/2 is happiest running on HPFS. If you want to retain the ability to run certain DOS programs from outside OS/2, just retain a FAT partition with those programs in it. Then you can boot off a DOS floppy and happily run those programs - including Windows 3.1 or whatever. This configuration isn't as elegant as the dual boot scenario, but you will have fewer problems, too. AND you will be able to take advantage of the long file names and HPFS speed in your other partitions. Steve -- Steve Withers - Wellington, New Zealand | End the two-party duopoly.
