ALR machines notice

I have installed the IBM 1.2SE on an ALR machine. However, if I
have no applications running, I eventually get an internal error
(Traps 2 and D) after a few minutes. Any of the IBM or Microsoft
kernel hackers out there notice problems like this? Probably linked
to some touchy aspect of the ALR hardware -- the error is annoted with
the phrase "device driver error: OEMHLP$". Thanx to interested and helpful
parties in advance.
