Hi. I need a driver - IBM support hasn't been too helpful. I bought TCP/IP for OS/2, and have an ISOLINK (by BICC) IsoLan Ethernet card. Unfortunately, TCP/IP doesn't come with a driver. Could a kind soul let me know if/where one exists??? (I thought the driver problems were solved after everyone screamed at IBM for releasing support for only IBM printers in os/2 1.[012]??? Not?) Please e-mail replies. Regards, Thor Legvold@alf.uib.no

Regards, Thor Legvold@alf.uib.no This is rapidly approaching the stature of an FAQ :-) The status regarding BICC cards, as they were related to me by the Norwegian importer, is: 1) 3Com has bought out BICC 2) 3Com has stopped production of BICC cards 3) 3Com has stopped further development of BICC drivers, at least as far as OS/2 2.0 is concerned. Next FAQ: Would YOU buy a 3Com 3C509 to replace your BICC cards ? (FYI, CERN apparently has some 500 BICC cards, we only have 80 :-)) Nils-Eivind Naas, ISAF, Oslo, Norway nen@isaf.no

Its OS/2 NDIS driver does *not* reliably receive multiple back to back packets from a fast machine such as a SPARC. It is tuned to be a Netware client, not a TCP client IMHO.
